With another year almost behind us here is part two of my list of artists that have left a impression on me through the years that passed away in 2017…
Bassist John Wetton best known for playing with King Crimson and Asia but has a very extensive catalog solo and with many other musicians http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5fezBnvkiU
Bass player for Mott the Hoople Pete Overend Watts
Actress Mary Tyler Moore
Actor Harry Dean Stanton
Steve Lang bass player for April Wine
Way before Walking Dead we had film maker George Romero
Rock pioneer Fats Domino
We might not be fans of disco but we all know of Joni Sledge and her sisters
CB is in the Harry Dean fan club (if there is one)

Couldn’t decide want clip to us for Harry since he has so many classic ones. I’m looking forward to his last movie coming out to Netflix so we can watch it. A couple days after we watched the trailer for it he passed. I believe it’s called “Lucky”?

Yeah that’s it. It was up here at the Vancouver film fest. Harry was one of those guys from that era like Bruce Dern Dennis Hopper that were just memorable actors. They dont make them like that anymore

Haven’t decided whether to do a ‘Real Gone’ post or not, but if not, you’ve covered most of the bases in this pair of posts. Vale to the band.

With so many important people passing this year I decided to break it down to 3 posts. This way I’m also covered in case we lose another one before the end of the year.

Sad news in deed. Just watched the color special that they had on TV a few days ago. I’ll be adding her on to my last in memory of list so I better come up with something by tomorrow night.

I didn’t know she was a child star. She’d been in show biz her whole life. You can find video of her singing online from the ’20’s (!) as Baby Rose Marie. She was like a lesser-wattage Shirley Temple.
